Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara national park and transfer to Karatu.

On the first day of the safari, begins with an early departure from Arusha, heading west to the Great Rift Valley. Your first major highlight is a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is renowned for its spectacular scenery dominated by the huge, sheer cliffs of the Rift Valley escarpment. Unlike the open savannahs, Manyara is characterised by a unique groundwater forest, which provides a home to huge troops of baboons, blue monkeys and a large concentration of the elephants.
