Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park.
On the first day of the safari, your day begins early in the morning as you are picked up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast by your professional safari guide from African Vacation Safaris. After a short briefing, you will begin your journey as you drive towards Serengeti National Park, while passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning landscapes of highlands, rolling hills and small Maasai villages.
As you approach Serengeti, you will spot the vast open plains, dotted with acacia tress and grazing animals. Upon entering the park, your first game drive begins as your guide will take you through areas rich with wildlife like elephants, giraffes, zebras and pride of lions and viewing various bird species. Later you will drive to your lodge and check in during time for lunch. After lunch, you will head for an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park, to spot predators like cheetahs and leopards as they prepare for their hunt. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 2: Full day Game drive in Serengeti National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and meet your safari guide to the park to witness the park’s wildlife at its most active, this is where you will watch the herds of wildebeests, zebras across the plains and then watching various predators, you will spot elephants and hippos returning to the rivers and many others. After the game drive you will transfer back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will explore the central Serengeti because this is one of the best regions for wildlife viewing; your guide will take you through different parts of the park to ensure a rich and varied experience. After a packed lunch is served in the wild allowing you to enjoy nature uninterrupted.
In the afternoon, you will have an option of visiting a Maasai village near the park to learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Maasai people their dances, customs and connection with the land. Afterward, continue with a relaxed game drive as you make your way back to the lodge. Later you will be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Game drive and return to Arusha.
Your final day begins with an early morning game drive to capture the last sights of Serengeti. This is your chance to spot animals you might have missed earlier perhaps a leopard in the trees, a herd of elephants bathing, or even the mighty buffaloes grazing in the open fields. The early morning of the park is unforgettable with cool breezes and the sounds of the birds welcoming a new day.
After breakfast, you will check out and then start your journey back to Arusha, enjoying your packed lunch along the way. Upon your arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel or directly at the airport for your onward travel that will make your safari come to an end.
